I was at JSA from 1963-1964 in signal (Noteworthy) I recall MSGT. Gertz, Sgt.Medley (great sgt)He and I recorded the return of the two pilots we got back. I think their names were Stultz and Volts. What a great day!
Sorry to hear of Sgt medley's passing. The country lost a good man. Had all my pics and slides stolen from my hold baggage at Kimpo. Thats all they took. ? Love to hear from anybody there 63-64. Great site Ray! Keep up the good work. Thanks, Denny

"IN FRONT OF THEM ALL"

Gentlemen, I am currently stationed at the DMZ and am trying to gather history to teach my Soldiers the GREAT Tradition they come from. I had a question: Does anyone know why our Brussard shows "MP"?

Thank you!

I was station there from Nov 1969 until Nov 1970. I was a PFC at the time in the first patoon. I remember the Oct 12th fight that day. I am so glad to have found this site. Looking at the photos just brings back memories. I ended up retiring at 20 years, and presently work at a DA Police Officer at Fort Lewis, Washington.

JSA Control #234 Dec 67 to Dec 68 Signal Section Does this sound familiar "your allegations have been noted and will be investigated in accordance with stated United Nations Command policy." Heard that som many times at MAC meetings during my tour, it's still stuck in my head. Quite an education in us versus them

Does anyone still have the nightmare where you are drafted again? No matter how many times you try to explain that you already served your time, some REMF officer holds up a piece of paper and says, "No, it does not say that here." On the other hand, maybe it would be good to go back once more and really kick * * * this time, instead of chopping down some stupid tree.
